CHESAPEAKE, Va. (Catholic Online) – On December 9, the day after the great feast of the Immaculate Conception, we commemorate and celebrate Saint Juan Diego who lived from 1474- 1548 in what is now Mexico. Beloved by so many, this dear Son of Mary and disciple of Jesus Christ was chosen to bring the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe to the world. Our tribute to this Saint is to present to our readers the marvelous reflections given on St Juan Diego by the late Servant of God John Paul II in the year 2002 at the Saint’s canonization: (To learn more, go to:  http://www.catholic.org/news/international/americas/story.php?id=30952
